*******First thing first, happy new year to all my readers out there, wishing you a fantastic 2016!

Hello awesome readers, hope life is good? (LG better not sue me on that one *rolls eyes*) Happy you journeyed with me on the blog last year. The fact that there is someone out there reading this is such an encouragement, like you have no idea. A big THANK YOU for always been there! Warmest appreciation!

Have been having sleepless nights as to how to combine recent activities with blogging and putting up posts as often as possible. Am only trusting God to help me. I promise to be as consistent as I can.

****

About today’s post,i have never been more inspired in my life until I went for a friend’s book launch (“It’s your life to live” by Mayowa Depo-Oyedokun) last weekend. It was a good way to start my year! I got to see how important ideas are. How much you can do with them and the numerous things it can bring your way (and am not just talking about money now).

See ideas will open doors for you that money can’t. It will give you a deserved respect that money can’t. For the sake of all that is key, please let your ideas have purpose. Let it be ideas that can impact and not distract. It’s the only way it will forever remain relevant. Ideas is like salt. I believe we know that there are numerous things we can do/achieve with salt. Such is how ideas operates as well. There is no limit to what you can do/achieve with them.

Let it all out, from a fountain of creativity. With all that you’ve got. Let it all out!!! With all the energy you can summon. Push like a woman in labour. That baby is worth the push, believe that!

So here is my challenge to you, pick up that idea that has been having enough space to groove and party in your head and then do something with it,let it leave your brain into your hands where you can actually do ‘something’ with it.

Let’s not fail to put those ideas out there, you have no idea whose life you are changing. Whose story you are contributing to in writing. Whose life you will make easier and perhaps better.

I have gotten a lot from meditation and I hope I can begin to give back all this through poetry this year. And so I hope every word you’ve encountered so far has helped you to see how crucial it is to push out that idea. Don’t let anything stop you,not even you.

Should in case you are still not absolutely clear on where am going with this,i write….

“Emptying the Womb”
The labour of heroes past, has brought forth babies now turned great philosophers and inventors.

Esteemed people whose great works is sprinkled across time and ages. Lords of their minds whence they create.

Creating from a place where ideas are nourished and nurtured like a baby in the uterus.

Knowing fully well that a malnourished idea is dangerous, they feed their babies with facts and not sentiments.

The womb hosts with structural integrity and support for ideas to come out whole and flourishing.

Impregnate your mind with creativity, seek to influence our world in positivity. Incubate your ideas in safe confines; your heart.

Your ideas carries on its inside, genes of your persona. Pass on her to the hearts of men. Be inclined to share!

But protect your baby like the wall of the womb. From social scavengers that might disrupt the growth of your foetus, your idea.

Push out all the ideas in you after the dilatation of your cervix. With guts and precision, surgical!

Every idea has its time of delivery. Empty your womb for the sake of our world, don’t loose this pregnancy. Give birth to your Nancy.

P.S; Special thanks to Dr Ope Ogunnika for her medical insights,i wouldn’t have made this much sense with this poem without you.Much love!
