Death Toll In Kano Suicide Bombing Rises To 15

The number of dead persons in a suicide bomb attack that occurred at a GSM market in Kano, north-west Nigeria, has risen to 15.

Earlier reports said five persons were killed.The number of persons injured in the Wednesday afternoon attack has also risen to 53.Eyewitness said two suicide bombers carried out the attack.The Commissioner of Police in the state, Musa Katsina, confirmed the attack. He said investigations had started.No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it is believed to have been carried out by a terrorist group, the Boko Haram.The group has carried out similar attacks in some northern states in the past.On Tuesday, a bomb blast at a crowded park in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, left at least 34 persons dead while at least 80 others were injured.
