Actors have been known to go to tremendous extremes in order to physically embody certain roles. Just look at the way Chris Hemsworth transformed his body for the role in his new movie.
Chris is starring in the new Ron Howard film In the Heart of the Sea, based on a true story that inspired Herman Melville's classic book Moby-Dick. Hemsworth plays a sailor shipwrecked for almost three months after a whale hits his ship. For the role, he had to undergo a stunning transformation.
